Allowing Comments on your Song

Your songs are private to you by default. There are multiple ways to share your song with others and allow commenting from trusted individuals only all the way to allowing anonymous feedback from the public. To adjust your settings:

1. Navigate to your song detail page. 

2. Click the "Edit Song" icon, indicated by the gear.

3. Click the "Permissions" tab. 

4. Slide the toggle to:

• 4a. Allow Commenting to allow commenting on your song. If this option is disabled no one that you're collaborating with, as well as yourself, may leave comments on any song.
• 4b. Make song public to allow anyone with whom you share the link to listen to your song, regardless if they are in the Tonic Audio community or not. If the person you are sharing with is not on Tonic Audio they will not be able to leave comments. If they are, they will be able to leave you comments (so long as the Allow commenting slide above is also enabled). 
  • Please remember to click the purple "Share" button to copy the link to your song with those whom you'd like to share it. Alternatively, you can click on the "Manage Collabs" icon and search for your collaborator's Tonic Audio username or add an individual's e-mail address (if they are not already part of the Tonic Audio community). 
• 4c. Allow anonymous public commenting to share your song with the world regardless if they are a member of Tonic Audio or not. Listener's here may leave you feedback on your song anonymously or they can choose to add their name before submitting their comment. This setting provides you the least amount of privacy

5. Click "Save."
